Story

Timeline:

Nutshell:

A group of bizarre dead people in Purgatory. They have to figure out their past and how they died before they can continue in their afterlife.

Who was PJ before their death:

Believe it or not, she was never a magician in her before-death. She actually stayed away from any stage show careers. She was even more of a serious person back then. Her true occupation was an CEO of a factory company. They produced only certain things. PJ cannot recall what they made.

Cause of death:

A lot of evidence support drowning but there was also a gun wound in the center of their head. A blow in the head in angle would be fatal… but is that their mortal wound? Was she shot after she drowned? but that doesn’t make sense either. She was found STILL in the water… because of this mystery her case quickly went cold.

Definitely a murder. Killer was never found. The only suspect police could link was her, at the time, boyfriend… the only problem was that he disappeared a few days before her murder. Police never found him and he was assumed dead and missing. All links to his name has been wiped off all records. PJ does not remember her (ex) boyfriend’s name nor who killed her.

Status body was found/other factors:

Ligature marks on wrists and ankles. These were caused by being tied to stone bricks to keep her from escaping the drowning. Body is full of bruises.

Somehow, she digested an alarming amount of mud. Evidence was slim as it was mostly destroyed by erosion of water and wildlife.
