WHAT IS PARA?
I do not glorify or condone any problematic/illegal content acted upon in real life. Sexualization does not mean glamorization. I do not view sexual themes as good or happy. I am a CSA / child abuse survior. I use fiction to cope with my disabilities and trauma based disorders. I am in therapy and regularly talk to a special therapist about my problems. I am in a controlled environment and I am in control of my life. I welcome concern but you have no right to attempt to change me, I am trying my best to better myself everyday. Please do not reset my progress.
MY STANCES
Anti-Censorship: I am against censorship in media and I believe in freedom of speech.
Anti-Contact / Anti-Abuse: A contact stance meaning I am against acting on harmful paraphilias, for myself and others. I do not support anyone who is neutral-contact and pro-contact
Anti-Harassment / Pro-Fiction: I support freedom in fiction. I do not support individuals who harass pro-fic people. I also believe in having responsibility and respecting others boundaries.
Anti-RPF / Anti-TCC: Anti-Real Person Fiction and Anti-True Crime Community. I am against fiction that invloves real people that have not/cannot consent to being in it. TCC, liking true crime is fine, especially in fiction but there is a massive group of people who glorify, sexualize, and romantizie real criminals/crimes who hide under the TCC label. I only support fictional criminals/crimes.
Pro-Recovery: I believe that harmful paraphiles can recover/prevent actions in therapy/non-harmful outlets. Paraphillia is a mental disorder, it cannot be cured but it can be controlled.
